Getting Started

You can save recipes in two ways:

Share Extension:
From Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Substack, or any food blog, tap the Share button and select Grosch. A recipe card will be created instantly.

Paste a link:
Copy the recipe link and paste it into Grosch. The app automatically pulls the ingredients and directions so you can add it to your collection, ready to plan and shop when you are.

Absolutely. If you have a recipe from a cookbook, family notes, or anywhere else, just tap Add Recipe and enter the details. It's flexible for any recipe you want to save.
Select the recipes you want to cook this week and tap Create List. Grosch will generate an organized grocery list for you with ingredients grouped by aisle and combined across recipes to avoid duplicates.
Grosch works with recipes from major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Substack) as well as most websites and blogs. Just share the post or website to Grosch to automatically import the recipe.
Once you save 10 recipes, you'll be prompted to upgrade to Premium if you want to keep adding more. You'll still have full access to your existing saved recipes and grocery lists.

Troubleshooting

Sometimes recipes are written in a way that's tricky to parse automatically. You can always edit the ingredients in-app to make sure they're exactly right.
If a link doesn't work, you can still add the recipe manually. Just tap "Or create one from scratch" in the add recipe card modal and enter the details. This ensures you can save anything you want to cook.
In your recipe collection, tap 'Clear selection' to deselect any recipes that are currently added to your list. Then tap the 'Update list' button at the bottom.
If an ingredient is incorrectly categorized, swipe left on the ingredient in aisle view to recategorize it correctly.

1. In any app, tap Share
2. Tap Share To, then swipe all the way right and tap More
3. Tap Edit, then find Grosch and tap the + next to it
4. Tap Done in the top right, then again in the top left

Grosch now appears at the top of your share sheet.
Tap the 🥑 anytime to save a recipe card straight to your collection, and never lose a recipe again.
